We made it!
Ok...so here's the rundown -
We finally boarded the plan at 7pm est. and made it to Gulfport in good time. Paul lost his luggage (he was the only one that brought ONE bag and they lost it). So, pray for that.
We had to rent another car because we didn't have the room for everything...so, by the time we got to Gretna...it was about 11ish.
Today (Sunday) we went to the service and then went off to sites to see where we would be working. Pics will be up soon from that - but you would not believe how much is still NOT done here after 2 years. It's pretty amazing. Im sure there has been a lot of work - but it just looks like its been untouched in many places.
Tomorrow we will be sending teams out to two locations for inside work (drywall, framing, electric, etc.). Please pray for plans we are making for outreach opportunities and other events through the week. Well, the work begins tomorrow...even though we've been very busy today.
